Hey There

I’m Anat, and I live in Málaga with my family. I’ve been a vegetarian for over 20 years, but it wasn’t until moving here that I discovered the joy of cooking.

With meat being such a staple in Spain, finding decent vegetarian options wasn’t easy, and after one too many potato-based meals, I decided it was time to take matters into my own hands.

I began recreating the familiar flavors I missed, adapting my favorite recipes to local ingredients and experimenting with fresh, easy-to-make meals. Surprisingly, I found that cooking wasn’t as complicated as I’d thought - in fact, it became fun!

And so my blog- vegetariAnat was born..

This blog is my way of collecting and sharing the recipes that have helped me thrive as a vegetarian in a place where meat is always on the menu.

Come along on this journey to discover flavorful, wholesome meals that make living meat-free in Málaga a little easier - and a lot more delicious!
